The Jupiter Rotary Die Cutter

A high performance rotary die cutter that includes the newest technology of vacuum transfer system. Quick and easy set-up, reduces scrap and improves register and printing quality. Nominal depth of 1676 mm (66\")


FEEDER

Sun Automation Lead Edge Feeder.
Chromed shafts.
Hardened and ground gears.
Motorized and controlled front, back and side stop adjustment.
Main drive: 80 KW variable speed with pneumatic disc braking.
Motor driven longitudinal travel.
Pull rolls: lower steel and upper rubber covered.
Speedometer and sheet counter.
Automatic module - locking.
Automatic stop at zero point.
Skip feed.



FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTER

Bottom printing.
Motor driven longitudinal travel.
Motorized side tracking (optional).
Chromed shafts.
Hardened and ground gears.
Interstation drying unit (optional).
Gear train locking at module opening.
Matthews type cylinder with main position and extra optional positions.
Ceramic roll with chambered doctor blade system for high quality graphics.
Vacuum transfer system across the width of the module.
Suction area adjustable to the size of the sheet.
Motorized and controlled register and caliper adjustment with visual setting of the axial positioning.
Double diaphragm pneumatic pump for ink circulation.
Ink wash-up through a predefined program.



TRANSFER MODULE

To be installed:
a) Between the feeder and the first printing module as a dust seal.
b) Between printers to include infrared dryers if necessary.
c) Between the last printer and the rotary die cutter module to isolate printing and cutting operations.
Vacuum sheet transfer system with friction rollers.



ROTARY DIE CUTTER

High performance rotary die cutter.
Lateral cutting adjustment.
Motor driven register adjustment.
Gear train locking at module opening.
Motorized and controlled register adjustment with visual setting of the axial positioning.
Blanket cylinder compensation system.
Side movement of the blanket and hunting tooth ratio for uniform wear.
