Welcome to FLEXCOR

After more than 30 years servicing the Australian printing industry’s roller reconditioning business, Australian-owned company Flexcor will be closing this part of their business before the end of 2017.

“We have been reconditioning chrome anilox rollers etc., for 30 years at our Kirrawee facility,“ explained Greg Cope the company’s Managing Director, “and we were the only chrome anilox roller company at the time, to achieve Quality Accreditation under ISO 9002. This has enabled us to be the sole survivor out of five manufacturers who were involved in chrome rollers when these rollers were the norm for flexo printing.

“We employed up to 14 tradespeople in the facility and produced up to 120 chrome anilox rollers per month.”

Sadly, said Greg, the market has shrunk and new technology in the form of ceramics has seen the demand for chrome rollers dropping gradually over the years. “We are now in a position where we will be forced to close the facility before the end of 2017.

“We will have limited resources nearing this time and I would suggest printers contact me ASAP to advise me of their needs.”

Greg thanked his long-time customers for their support over the years and wishes them well into the future.

Flexcor will continue to supply all the other premium brand consumables and represent Principals’ products as usual, and look forward to continuing to assist customers well into the future.
